From the Inside, Out

Smoking, Drinking, Cutting. How do you cope?

This docudrama tackles the subject of self-injury, a topic often shrouded in shame and secrecy. Using interviews from self-injurers and their friends and family, From the Inside, Out documents an evening with a young woman as she struggles to come out to her father for a second time.

This time as a self-injurer.

From the Inside, Out was created at Oberlin College and went on to be peformed at the NYC Fringe Festival in 2008.  Following the Fringe, the show went on a tour  to colleges and universities along the east coast.
